You said you cared.
How was I supposed to know
The feelings werent really there.
I kept you at a distance.
You tore my guard down.
I was scared to jump in.
You said you wouldnt let me drown.
I believed you.
Doubted all my fears.
I had faith in you.
Now Im sinking in pools of tears.
I look up and you still arent there.
Its unthinkable. You lied.
You said you cared.
