Dreamer
Dreamer
Lands unknown appeal more than lands known.
Adventure, romance, purpose rules the worlds I dream of while,
Pain, suffering, and the endless, meaningless circle rule the lands known.
Why am I doomed to this fate?
Seeking,
Always seeking that which is not there.
Up, up my mind soars;
Higher and higher into the clouds,
Never stopping, never looking down.
Then,
I crash.
Something hits me like lightning,
You’d call it reality,
To me, it is death.
Death to my dreams,
Death to my hopes,
Death to my lands and my comfort.
Such is my fate;
To seek but never to find.
I am a dreamer.
