Lock it Deep Inside

Lock it deep inside

don't let it see the light

say what's expected

so you'll never face the sight

of your own iron shell's destruction

Surrounded by the strangers

who call themselves your friends

keeping up the image

you stuff it all within

and let them all pretend

Oh If they only knew

then perhaps they'd see

the world's not a simple place,

people tend to fall from grace,

and what time we have we shouldn't waste

by putting up steel blockades

Time won't wait for change

and as your days unfold

while your stories go untold,

the fire deep inside

dwindles with every lie
