New Chapter
High school felt like eternity
The second semester of senior year felt like a thousand years in itself
Will I ever get out of this place?
Exams, the dreaded end of each semester
Tests, a scantron sheet that has many questions and you have few answers
Homework, the daily occurrence that forces you to take school home with you
Quizzes, the weekly occurrence to test to see whether you have paid close attention or slept the class away.
The late nights, early mornings, the hours of studying.
Will it ever end?
Christmas break, Winter break, Spring break.
The end is near.
Football games, Basketball games, Dances, Parties, Friends.
No more.
High School is over.
