Senioritis
Only three months of my high school career left.
I’M OUT OF HERE!
Crowded, long, humid, and locker covered hallways.
Never again.
I just don’t care about my homework anymore.
Having fun with the friends I have known
since elementary school.
It is so much more important.
Spring Break. 25 days left, and counting.
Sun bathing on white sanded beaches with
clear aqua colored water along side.
Can’t wait.
The memories we have yet to make.
You get an assignment.
“Ugh, come on” you whisper to yourself.
Math, language arts, science, and social studies.
Shove your boring white sheet of paper in your backpack.
Let’s get real.
Only a few more dreadful months of doodling.
Summer is on my mind too.
Our last one together.
Open houses, concerts, parties, and sleepovers.
Insane to think about, these four years have gone by so fast.
It’s almost here.
The senior walk and graduation.
Navy blue caps and gowns, diplomas, and saying our goodbyes.
Just a matter of days.
Only a three more months of my high school career left.
I’M OUT OF HERE.
