Stranger's Song
She stood upon the deck
and looked down at the hooded figure playing the guitar
His soft voice sent tireless tones through the freezing air
With the wind in her hair, wrapped in a blanket, she soaked in his amazing song
Each strum of the strings broke a new barrier in the cold, silent night
at the last note, as all the sounds floated away
she stared upon him, with her sparkling green eyes, and asked him for his name
an almost silent laugh is all that she heard, as her singing stranger walked away
