Morning

Dew beads glimmer in pearly light on your head,

Glinting

Shimmering translucent symphonies,

The tangerine sunrise ignites the warbles and twitters of birds,

Flowers stretch their tender arms, brushing into one another in the fresh light of day,

The twinkling stars veil themselves under sheets of robin egg blue,

And the once luminescent moon grows slumbersome,

Lights flicker on,

And shades are pulled up, flooding the rooms with silver light.

Darkness seeps out of the corners and crevices,

Quiet stifles a yawn, not to wake the late dreamers,

Such a long saphire night,

And new day settles in.
