Scared To Death
Emotions course through my veins sluggishly,
Like an old war-horse tired of battles.
I am so damn tired of fighting this,
When you know what's going on inside me.
I'm scared to death of becoming Echo,
And mirroring a thousand sins unseen.
I should scream, I should confront you for this,
But no. I know that you already know.
I have caught your second-story eyes there,
On this one's hair, you stare too long, it's wrong.
Have you ever lived, or died to yourself?
You are cheating, and I try not to care.
