Pictures In My Head
I'm seeing pictures in my head, shouldn't I be dead?
Time seems to float, like a swiftly sailing boat.
The sky is spinning round, my feet can't touch the ground.
My eyes are open wide, but reality seems to hide.
Why should millions die, while I sit here and cry.
What is it they've done that sends them up to the sun?
Is it all a plan, to wipe out all of man.
Or bring us to edge, where we walk through the hedge.
And through the colorful leaves, we see a world at ease.
A world without pain, with rolling green terrain.
A sky alive with flight, and starlight in the night.
The birds whistle their song, and all mankind sings along.
One world, one earth, united from the idea of birth.
All helping each other, the enemy, the brother.
Where is this place, is it out there in space?
Or inside our heart, waiting to start?
