I Wonder
I saw you yesterday, but you were different
You weren’t how I remembered you last time
Maybe it was your hair, your walk
Or maybe it was the girl you were with
What does she have that I don’t?
Is it her smile? Is it her laugh?
Does she put up with your lies better than I?
Does she even care?
I try so hard every day to put you in the past
To move on and end the chapter of us
Except I don't want to close the book
I want to say I deserve better and mean it
I want to say I’m moving on and do it
But, I can’t do this without you
And as I watch you pull her closer into you
A part of me feels alone and forgotten
Wondering if I will ever love like this again
