Girl from Holland

I know a girl; she is plagued by her fears
When her nightmares come creeping
Like age through the years
She holds me weeping

I listen at first not knowing what to say
Her tears stain my shirt
My feelings are a certain shade of grey
My first thoughts, everyone hurts

It seems to me, all things said, she said for a reason
I love her, so it hurts me to
In her life I guess sympathy is out of season
I have some words for her, just a few

A smile builds on her face
As I look at her I see, the grace of a dove
I kiss her gently, just incase
Happiness sets in and it fits like a glove
