As They Hugged for the Last Time

As they hugged for the last time.
And the tears filled her eyes.
Her heart began to race.
As the tears ran down her face.
She just cried and cried.
As her arms fell to her side.
Her head fell to the ground.
As she turned around and walked away without a sound.
School that day was hard for her.
And the heartache she felt.
Proved that for sure.
This is the story of a girl.
Who has just lost her best friend.
And she will be broken.
And loving him to the end.
