Christmas Town
Christmas morning,
Snow is falling.
People smile,
Being good all year was worthwhile.
Children aren't shunted,
And cry "It's just what I wanted!"
No one is rude,
Even the town grouch is in a good mood.
Lights line the rooftops,
And the caroling never stops.
Christmas night,
Children are tucked in tight.
New toys galore,
Not one wanting more.
