Unmatched Feet
As the actions ribbon the unmatched beat
Losing the touch and feeling from my feet
Soon my composure is no longer neat
I can feel my legs falling from defeat
Leaving my face and the brown earth to meet
But the cold dirt to me was just a treat
A hurt body from this natural concrete
From my mouth I bore a small cloud of heat
I stand once again and run down the street
Hoping my strength will not quickly deplete
Hoping I'm prepared for any deceit
And for my new hopes, I'll gladly secrete
With the hidden emotions, can I replete
With all my virtues written on this sheet
But I wish not to come off as elite
For most should know that I'm incomplete
But for happy endings I'll gladly greet
For stolen memories, I must repeat
