Cloud Nine
I dreamed about a place, somewhere up high
Dreamed about a cloud that was ninth in the sky
Were your promises and oaths don't look like a mask
Were I can hide from the world and never come back
I dreamed about this place, away from the ground
Where I can scream and no one would hear a sound
Where nothing to my heart is a beautiful lie
I dreamed about a place, a refuge in the sky
No more sorrow laments, and no more sorrow tunes
No more deadly mistakes screaming to the moon
A place where the monsters stay hiding away
Where the mind's wonders come out to play
A place were no one thinks love is just a game
Where the mind change, but it still feels the same
A castle that lies and follows after your breath
Where you won't ever have to be scared to death
I dreamed about a place, somewhere up high
A place so far away, the fears all die
I lived beyond, closer and closer to the trigger
With my monster's eyes growing bigger and bigger
I used to always get ready, counting one, two, three
Then I would close my eyes and quietly beg for peace
'Cause I dreamed about a place, touched by the light
With my ashes still burning, I would be there tonight
