Take Me Apart

Hot tears stream down my frosted skin
Where cold blood flows deep within.
Half withered away, I look up in despair,
Realizing I could never touch what's there.
In the shadows of the night,
I forgot myself, my life, my faith.
Shame lingering in my soul
Made me forget to seek His face.
Hear my cry... my humble prayer.
Please pass me not and forgive what's here.
Here in my broken, depraved, cold heart
It's wide open-- take me apart...
Take me apart.
