Someone Knows
Behind a mask is where you hide
You say the truth but yet you’ve lied
You hide what you truly are
But you must to reach that social bar
You think you’re cool ‘cause of what you pose
But its time you learn that someone knows
You are not the person you pretend to be
But I’m the only one that can see
You say you love when you really hate
Because you’re impatient you make others wait
In your eyes is where your real self lies
And where your life is in knots and ties
You say you’re happy when you feel remorse
Or any other feeling worse
You care too much about what others say
But you don’t care enough about your way
It’s time to get out from behind your mask
Whether you’re good or bad it will be a task
You walk around like you’re all that
People wish your ego would just splat
You think you’re cool ‘cause of what you wear
But really others just don’t care
You say you know who you are
But that lie is as obvious as a star
You think that you are so great and cunning
But mostly you just feel like running
You think you’re cool ‘cause of what you pose
But is time you knew that someone knows
