November eighth, nineteen ninety two,
Jennifer Leafty became brand new.
Potty training her was a success,
Unlike other kids, where it’d be a mess.
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear turn around.

This was the song she could not master,
Sing it with her so she’d learn faster.
Years went by, and her parents divorced,
All four of us felt great remorse.
Sophomore year, she was able to drive,
Not one wreck, thank God she’s alive.
A purple Sunfire she called “Mine,”
“Where are my keys!?” became her line.
Working at Starbucks was her dream,
With a manager who did nothing but scream.
Graduating high school was a success,
More emotional than one could express.
Moved in with her boyfriend, whose name is Cole,
No fighting at home, so it became dull.
Enrolled in college for a nursing degree,
Always at school, no time for me.
