The Ember Glows
The ember glows like a dimmed light
A symbol of hope in the dark night
Fighting the wind, the rain, the snow
Holding on to its last glow
The sinking feeling creeps upon
That this battle will soon be done
With all its strength it fights to live
It breaks, it bends, but it will not give
With a breath of wind the ember grows
A spark that spreads to fire shows
Now and forever the ember glows.
