Nervous

His arms are feeling heavy,
His palms are getting a little sweaty,
He starts shaking,
History is in the making,
He is scared and unsteady,
Others see him as calm and ready,
Then everything snaps back to reality,
He starts thinking,
I am nervous,
It seems like there is no gravity,
There seems to be no serenity,
But no one can hear what he's saying,
He realizes that he is choking,
I am nervous.
