As we're getting older,
Happiness is in the past.
Everyone is changing;
Nothing good seems to last.
What's become of our sweet childhood?
Are memories the only thing left?
Innocent people start to talk of
Suicide, drugs, and theft.
Now the swings are broken;
Boys are breaking hearts.
Death becomes reality,
And best friends begin to part.
No one seems too trusting;
The world is full of crime and lies.
Everywhere you turn,
You meet accusing eyes.
Life's no longer fun and games,
No more endless play.
You realize life is short;
You must cherish yesterday

Dans chaque fil il y a un debut.
The rhythm is good and the meaning is even better and unfortunately too true.
