I'm Guilty Too
I'm so sick of poems
About heartbreak and tears.
Write about something happy.
I don't want to hear about the fears
That put scars on her wrists.
I want to read something amazing,
Something funny, and very pleasing.
I must admit I'm guilty too,
But I'm changing, so should you.
I've put everything behind me.
I've forgotten about those scars,
The same ones that made me cry for years.
If someone as weak as I can,
I think a masochist could too.
