The Birch Tree's Robes
Little, pretty birch tree,
Its seas'nal robes we like to see.
In spring it's a bright green:
A calming sight to be seen.
In summer it's a hue of jade,
And creatures gather in its shade.
In autumn when the weather's cold,
It changes to a precious gold.
In winter it's a shining white,
And with the snow, it seems just right.
Those are the robes of the birch tree,
Now we will see them, you and me.
