"You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape it one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present." - John Green

The way the wind blows across my face
The way the rain drops crash upon my skin
The way the night disappears without a trace
The way the waves roll silently signaling the end.

The sound of the birds singing as I wake up
The sensation of the sun on my skin
The taste of the rain as I dance in it
The smell of fresh air after the storm
The sight of sweet accord of the lake as if a mirror.

The feeling of tranquil harmony as I walk along the road
The feeling of anticipation when I step into the woods
The feeling of the river when it gently flowed
The feeling of the eagle signaling its descent.

The sound of my feet as they crunch along the trail
The sensation of the cold air at night beckoning me home
The taste of adventure when entering a new path
The smell of the pine trees filling my senses
The sight of the stars that blanket the sky with light at night.

I love it! It's beautiful and has some great vocabulary. Nice!
