Butterfly, Bee
Sometimes I am a butterfly,
sometimes I am a bee;
as either bug, I still feel
small
and deeply unhappy.
When I am a butterfly,
I'm told that I'm pretty,
but I don't care about that at
all,
since no one really knows me.
As a bee, I wonder why
I stay instead of flee,
yet I remain, a buzzing
ball
of negativity.
I don't care for either bug;
I wish to be free.
My mouth stays shut as I just
fall
to strong misanthropy.
