It's Her Birthday
It’s Her Birthday
It’s her birthday
Too bad she can’t blow
Out her candles
It’s her birthday
She would be seventy-two,
If it wasn’t for the
Cancer that killed her golden heart
It’s her birthday
She is supposed to sit in front
Of her cake and make a wish
It’s her birthday
Three years after she died
And now that she is gone
They all want to give her a gift
It’s her birthday
And instead of crowding around a
Table we are standing around her tombstone
Letting the wind blow out her candles
