Decked in red, white, and blue,
Our nation gathers in celebration,
Of the flag that still flew,
And the birth of a great nation.

So many problems we face,
Yet when it comes down to the core,
All that matters is we have freedom for every race,
Thanks to the Revolutionary War.

The Declaration gave us independence from Britain,
But it stood for so much more,
For the principles that were written,
Are like none that ever came before.

In a Nation that is in recession,
Let’s take time to appreciate the freedoms we stand for,
Stop this talk about secession,
And take pride in the country we adore.
