Cherry Red Pills
I can hold death in my hands
I can swirl the cherry red pills
Along the counter
Yet even with such power
I jump at every sound
To conceal my game
And even though I could crush death
To dust
Under my heels
My heart skips two beats
Even though this processed death
Man-made monster
Has no power to kill
Without consent
I feel like I'm toying with the trigger
At my head
Because all I can do is dance with Death
And all Death can do is stop the music
