The Rose

As I sit here
I look at the rose
Its' read pedals so bright
They slowly start to die
Losing its' color
I was so bright once
Now I'm slowly dying inside
The roses' pedals slowly fades away
Each one hitting the floor
The color is all gone
The rose is now bent
I'm slowly fading away from this earth
Losing my color as i grow older
When I'm old enough I'll be just like the rose
