Bottled Love
She gives love from the bottle
Dripping dripping, slowly dripping
Upon me
I want her love
Poured all over me
I yearn to guzzle it down
And drown in it
But she just lets love
Drip
Drip, slowly drip
Upon me
I'm a withering flower
I suck each drop in
With pathetic speed
Deep into my roots
It spreads throughout me
Momentarily
Then my spilt-secound relief
It's gone
She gives love from the bottle
Dripping dripping, slowly dripping
Until I'm a shriveled dry mess
Burried in the hot orange sand of a desert
With the sun pounding down on my back
Blistering, burning until im just
A pile of black ash
I cry so hard my throat is dry
I am so parched
I beg for more from the bottle
Yet she still gives love sparingly
Teasing me with one drop
Liquid love flows through my veins
Giving me hope
Just enough for survival
I want to swim in an abundance of love
Oceans and oceans of love
I give in to her
Now there is nothing
Under her blazing sun,
But dry cracked sand
