Falling Into Darkness: Depression
Pushed into the water
I plunge down, down
I kick out to push
Back toward the light
Above my head
I fight and I strike
While the light looms above
As the breath in my lungs
Disappears into nothing
So I can't breathe
As my thoughts disappear
Into the swirling current
Surrounding me completely
I continue to fall into
Darkness that surrounds
My Heart, Soul, Mind
Nothingness grips me
As nobody hears me
And I'm stuck in this nothing
Of difficult return
