To-do List
The whiteboard on my wall
Has a long list of things to do
I spend time writing and erasing
Yet it is seldom changed
It gets longer every day
Wish it would go away
Lists of chores, applications,
Essays, no vacations
In all the time I take
Revising my list of boring things to do
I should erase it all and simply
Spend the day
With you.
