A tail slowly flips in the water
Moving fast only when neccesary
Singing whispers through the mist
She is unable to find her love
She flops onto a rock to sun her tail
When she opens her eyes she spots him
storming into the water drunk with happiness
to a lover she will never be with
to a lover she only sees in the summer
Her forbidden summer love
