Cold as ice
Like the stick thin model
With her blue diamond eyes
And frosty hair
A six foot Barbie doll
Frozen red lips
Snow skin
An ice queen
Plastic
Inside and out
She is poisonous,
Unnatural
And cruel
Or warmer
Like a gentle fire
Natural, like autumn
Brunette, with olive skin
A glow you can see
Radiating from with in
Society chooses ice
Holding it above the warmth we so adore
Society requires that ice
The ice that kills so many
Not the heat, the life that we bask in everyday
But the unforgiving cold
Not warmth,
Not hot chocolate,
Sugary sweet in the fall afternoons
Not love, tender, comforting
Like leaves, metallic, red, and orange
Blowing in the wind
