Have A Seat Upon A Horse
Have a seat upon a horse and make yourself at home.
You are now upon a dream, upon a memory that is your own.
This dream can take you far and wide, in a gallop or a prance.
Just have a seat upon the saddle, see if this dream can make you dance.
Close your eyes and take a breath, trust him with your heart.
Believe this dream will never fade, never will it depart.
Give him a name, remember it, and store it in your mind.
Reach out a hand, place it on his mane; heaven is what you'll find.
Allow the memories to trickle in, memories you both have shared.
Times you groomed him, confide in him, realizing he really truly cared.
Allow the dream to nuzzle you, to gaze at you, and whisper to your soul.
Let him take you on a magical ride; you'll never feel more whole.
Climb on his back, face your fears; erase them one by one.
See the world up from above and don't stop at the sun.
When the world starts raining down and the sun is out of sight,
Let this dream release your fears and help you through the night.
This dream will remain with you forevermore, you will never be alone.
So have a seat upon a horse, and make yourself at home.
