Soft clouds come colliding into one another
as the sun’s beams peak in.
It’s rays are forcing it’s way to be seen
through the plush pillows of the evening sky.

My misty eyes gaze at the sky, until
the last patch of blue desolates.
The patch containing the last of my dreams.

Pearly pinks and crimson reds begin
to take over.
Lingering through this hell-like atmosphere.
The creation of colors distract me
from my fidgeting mind.

I dream of being in that wondrous sky.
Free, weightless and beautiful.
Without one flaw screeching through
my mind.

Yet I am caught in this atmosphere of agony.
Drowning in the lands where the demons corrupt
my every dream.

Stuck where the air is stale and
where the people are grey.
Where the feelings I possessed were ruined,
making me dispassionate and insane.

The echoing of the demons continue
to electrify my unhealed soul.
Permanently damaged,
compiled with resentment.

Slowly. I am slipping my way closer to the ground.
I am left with no cloud of motivation,
or beam of life.
The only hope I have is to gaze at the sky above.
