Answering the Call
This bird here, it speaks to me.
It whispers sweet nothings into my ear.
I swear I can hear it!
Don’t think me insane.
The bird is here to give me warning,
Warning of what the future holds.
It tells me of what lays overseas.
How all that I know can one day disappear.
How I must take my ground and commit.
No longer will I sit here and watch this earth hang by man’s chain.
I will drop these “…suits of woe.”
And I will take the necessary stance to save our planet before our actions leads to its unfold.
