Playing in the Fire
Catching the flames,
Is a dangerous game.
Burns upon burns,
There is no where to turn.
They warned you about the fire,
They warned you to lose this fascination with the pyre.
But curiosity nags at you.
It begs you to do,
Do away with the old name,
So you can get ready for the flame.
Don’t abandon your senses.
They are all you can rely upon now.
This world tenses,
As you fall to your knees in a bow.
Victim to the fire,
You did fall.
Victim to it’s sire,
I warned you all along.
