A Name
What is a name?
A man?
A moment?
A remnant of pain?
A speck of dust
Torn from a cliff,
Embarking on a great journey,
Driven by If.
But now
The speck faces the greatest If of all:
How will its journey be remembered,
So great,
So tall?
Only a speck among a great dune
To be broken up and forgotten soon,
Asking itself:
What is my name?
My life?
A moment?
A remnant of pain?
Who knows how and where
Who will be remembered and who will care.
Legends have the man turn to myth,
And regular men are just dust in the cliff.
