Love Poem
my heart jumps
at the whisper of your name
the evening floats in
by the ocean side
waves cover us like a blanket
I am comforted by your hand
that I hold in the twilight
In breathless wonder I sleep
And I awake to find you
bathed in morning light
quietly studying
every detail of my face
your touch is gentle
but your hands strong
I fall back asleep
In your loving arms
