Moon of dark covered up by the sky
Earth without rain- so brittle and dry
Longing tree set up high on a hill
An arduous journey ahead to fulfill
Needlessly smiling to ward off the pain
Cold emptiness as dreary as rain
Holding back tears that threaten to spill
Outside your window the world looks so still
Loneliness that makes the soul sigh
Youthful longing of years gone on by
