I ran from you
when you started
to creep into my soul
like it was your summer home
Taking a match,
you threw it
in the fire place
my safest place
You lit my soul on fire
I ran away
but grew exhausted
You’re now in my veins
flowing through my bloodstream
like it’s where you belonged
