Fallen
You lied, I believed
You laughed, I cried
You judged, I took it.
You liked it, I hated it
You left, I waited.
But what did you gain?
You disappeared, but took something with you.
You threw what I had given you onto the floor without a second thought.
Now there is a gaping hole in my chest where something important should be.
But what do you care?
You smile, you laugh, you cry, you finally hurt.
But not because of something I did,
No, because of something she did.
I should not deserve to feel like this for someone who doesn’t care, but I do.
I should not feel hurt for someone who laughs at the same thing.
I should not have to smile around you when all I want to do is cry.
I should not have fallen for your tricks.
I shouldn’t have fallen.
I shouldn’t have fallen.
