The Friend Zone

I am stuck in this friend trap,
Impossible to jump the gap
The vines forever pull me in
Glued to me like skin
Never able to break from these straps
The friend zone is like bubble wrap
It protects the fragile crap
Without risk you can never win
I am stuck in this friend trap
Guide me with a map
Help me tear this barrier to scrap
I will remember when
You say yes to love within
Then I wake up from my nap
And I am still stuck in this friend trap
