The Wicked One at Play
Has happiness ever sickened you?
Made you feel wicked too?
Seeing walking bodies,
Smiling naughtily,
Making you question whether it's out there for you,
Or if you're alone for good; drifting into the blue.
I saw her laughing, happy again.
I saw him smiling, blissful, amen.
I saw a couple joyful there.
Too much for me to bear.
So I feel wicked today.
Quite tempted in a way,
To show them how far happiness can run,
When it's leash is undone.
