That Life
People sometimes say they want the perfect life.
The 4.0 wife,
The kids who can carry own with strife.
But why must it be perfect?
Sometimes the most beautiful of things are that which play on the imperfect.
I want to live a good life.
I want to know I gave it my all.
That in life, I always strived.
That in life, I played in the court with that mysterious ball,
The ball in which I'll cry and I'll call,
But at the end of the day I'll know that I did all that I could to try not to fall.
