New Chapter
Eighty one days
Till high school is over and we enter a new maze.
This is when we have no choice but to go our separate ways.
My friend, we won’t see each other for quite a few days,
But even miles away you will never cease to amaze.
I can picture your smile shining with radiating rays,
Wishing you were near so I could look over to catch your gaze.
I hope even miles away you get what you deserve which is praise.
I’m not prepared for this new chapter, this new phase,
But ready or not here comes the craze.
I need you to know that I will never forget the good old days.
