What if everyone’s wishes came true?
The world that we live in would be pretty askew
The things we
wished
would all get
squished
Because no two people wish for the
exact same thing
So our wishes would become void
and nobody would be overjoyed
because what they want
isn’t what somebody else wants
In fact, they could be wishing
for your wish to not come true
If everyone wishes on a star
our wishes wouldn’t get very far
because stars don’t play favorites
