The Train Tonight
The empowering noise of the train roaring
perfectly against the tracks aligned,
sends the adrenaline with my emotions soaring,
when visiting the memories hidden in my mind.
Oblivious birds sleep sweetly in the night
hear a becoming whistle in the distance.
I now see clearly a light so bright,
and breath away the last faint resistance.
Along the tracks, i have derailed.
Now peacefully i lay to crash and burn.
Following the reasons that i failed,
is only the soul she could not learn.
Time has led to this hesitant decision.
A lack of nothing but my best.
Here I lye in this collision.
Time has led me now to rest.
A duration long, lest I have arrived.
Unknown amongst the sweet destination.
Stumbled and fallen along the climb,
on this evil transportation.
In this long, winding train of life,
Im only absent the conductor.
Chain and linked by to much strife,
this can only be what I was meant for.

As i was standing outside one night trying to think through all my thoughts, I heard a train whistle and the suddenly it came to me. This life I have lived is so winding and crazy just like a train. A lot of the times I dont know where I am going, yet through it all I know soon I will arrive at the place I'm meant to be.
