When we are little we are told more than one story.
Maybe horror, maybe gory.
Maybe sweet, maybe kind,
Maybe one that blew your mind!

Have you been told as a child to do what you want?
Maybe someone pointed out a flaw that you should flaunt!
Here is the thing that will scare you pale,
What you are told as a child, was just a fairytale.

When we get older we learn an evil,
And I am not talking about Evil Kanevil.
This evil we learn has everything to do with you and me,
This evil we learn is called reality.

“Get up you idiot! Why are you crying?”
“Jeez you act like someone is dying.”
This is what we are told at least once in our lives,
Reality dear reader, is filled with nothing but lies.

Reality is the one that creates the fall,
Reality is the one that kills us all.
